Invisible Wings

This award winning feature film is based on a real life experience, directed by Feng Zhenzhi. One of those rare gem of films that change the way you look at LIFE. The 90 min film details the incredible and motivating story of a teenage girl, Zihua, who went on to become a national champion in swimming though she lost both her hands due to an electric shock while recovering a kite tangled among electric wires. The child actress Lei Qingyao who played the title role won the Silver Elephant Award for the Best Actress. The film also got the Golden Eagle award in the American Film Festival. The film was also screened as a part of Beijing Olympics, 2008.
